Request For Proposal

The final goal is to create a visual equalizer that represents a song of our choice. To create all the elements that are required and make it look nice is part of the challenge. We are required to use different form, color and code-based animation to create an equalizer that has a wow factor.

Art Direction
I decided to go with something I’m interested in: Movies. I have many favorites but I had to choose one that I could symbolically represent. After trying to decide for hours, I decided to do one of the Batman trilogy movies. The symbol I chose was the Bat symbol. I decided to make my theme The Dark Knight, as it is one of my all time favorites. But I couldn’t find an appropriate background to match the symbol. I decided to go with Batman Begins. I found a few images that suited the symbol and animation.

Color Palette
To keep in connection with the Batman theme, i decided to use similar colors. Mostly black, dark greys and orange.

Song
There is no set song that I have chosen as of yet. Of course, I have narrowed it down to a few choices. I would like to use one from the Batman soundtrack. The choices I have narrowed it down to are:
-Mollosus
-Why So Serious?
-Watch The World Burn
-Introduce A Little Anarchy
I have yet to test these to the symbol I have chosen, therefore do not know which would suit my composition.

Layout
The layout of the deployment page will be quite simple. The only thing I would change is perhaps the background. I am thinking something along the lines of the clouds shown at the beginning of the movie. It looks something like the pictures below. I would also like my final to look something like the last picture.
